How this might have looked back when.
As a kid I drooled over my mom's old "Parents" Magazines and dreamt of being in a pair. Sadly they were next to impossible to find at the time. As a kid I didn't have the resources to find them.
There are still a few pairs in the hands of collectors. I wish I had the money and one pair and I'd produce a limited run of them for nostalgia buffs - myself included!

Hmmm, I don't remember seeing anything like this when I was little, but the idea of using tying straps is good. That way they can fit a good number of sizes. The only kind of cloth diapers or training pants I remember are the elastic kind or plain fold ones with plastic pants pulled over.

Remember, these were primarily designed for older kids and not necessarily babies.

i remember having something similar to these when i first moved to Alberta, too bad i can't convince my mom to go back to being a seamstress, she was really good at it.
