Reynardine is a song about a young woman riding in the mountains. She meets a charming rogue Reynardine who offers to take her back to her castle. She says her father is a rich merchant and will surely moggadore Reynardine if he does, but he snaffles her off anyway, and for what purpose is unclear...
... though since Reynardine is a were-fox of sorts, you may imagine there's less maidens around his area of the woods than there might be.

Anyway. this was commissioned by Vulnavia. Ashta Ermine posed for this one along with my good friend Alter, who is a werefox.

The clothes are based on British Regency designs though Ashta is actually mostly wearing a man's outfit. I set the scene in a wholly fictitious Scottish style pine forrest and musted the colours in the style of Regency landscape painting.
