It didn't make any sense from the beginning to the end, Spike was totally misused, Rarity was most annoying, Applejack was like usual the most perfect pony around... There were a few good ideas, but I think it was overall the worst episode in the series, even worse than Daring Don't. I had never forced myself to watch MLP, but this episode realised what had seemed to be impossible.
So, sad Rarity, because if the ol Rarity saw what she has become, she would probably pull this kind of face.

I don't really have an opinion on the episode myself, yet. I haven't watched anything past episode three this season. It's not that I don't want to watch it, I just got stuck on "Daring Don't."

I'm not fond of Daring don't. I don't think they should have made Daring Do a not-fictionous character and the episode suffers from that (still Rainbow Dash makes great faces in it :) )
but the season 4 is, for me, one of the best. Slice of life, comedy, songs, adventures, drama, growth for the characters. It should be sad to miss a lot of great scenes with Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash or my favorite Pinkie Pie (Pinkie Pride is a great episode with an interesting and conflicted Pinkie) and of course Discord. In that season, Twilight is less prominent.

That's one reality-accurate realization of Rarity, including muscles. Although the style isn't to my liking, how perfectly it mirrors reality is surprising. Well, maybe not the tail, but I'm no horse/equine expert, all I know is what I read and see from photos.
