Zane has something of an ear fetish. Sparky thinks it's absolutely gross and disgusting to have his ears chewed or licked. Sometimes Zane just has to hold him down and indulge himself, much to Sparky's dismay!
No, that's not how Zane's ears got injured, but Sparky might want to be careful lest he wind up with bandages all over his ears.
