The battle had now finished, and the 'Ultimate Lifeform' Shadow the hedgehog was walking up to his loyal ally (and secret crush) Sky the echidna.

She was unconscious;
She appeared to have no physical wounds on her body, but she was exhausted due to over-use of her powers.

He knelt down beside the beautiful female and checked her over, then he gently carried her in his arms and proceeded to walk out when suddenly, a familiar blue blur rushed and stopped infront of him-

It was Sonic the hedgehog.

"Step aside, Sonic! Can't you see Sky needs medical attention?!"

"Don't you dare tell me how I should care for MY girlfriend!"

"This is NO time to be jealous, 'Faker'! She's used too much of her powers... She needs time to recover from..."

"Since when do you give a damn about anyone else but yourself? And besides, Sky is not yours to protect!
