Given that I promo'd two things in one day a few days ago when I had done album art, I waited a day or two to show this. This is track #3 for my Wind Waker Remixed! album. The track as posted is a semi-finalized WIP.
Track Notes: This track annoyed me, as Nintendo did not create full tracks for the baton songs - rather, they left each with 3 or 4 chords, which results in an unsatisfying end for what could be good tracks. No longer! We start with Wind's Requiem, name changed to Requiem Of Ocean Winds. This is a Requiem, so I took to my favorite instrument set - choir-style voices with accompanying orchestra and church bells. It is not a sad piece, but I personally believe souls of the dead would want a cheery tune to be remembered by.
It's mostly because I'm still getting into the groove of doing a monthly soundtrack - on top of which, my sound quality only just jumped to the point where I feel comfortable doing remixes. I seem to have misinformed you though - the album is four tracks (which are openly available on all my art accounts) and two exclusive bonus tracks! :>
This is also not the last you'll hear of me doing Legend of Zelda remixes. It, alongside the Metroid franchise and a few others just as deserving of remixes, will be a continuing theme in the future with more releases and more content per release as I grow more confident.
