Unearthed Ancient Interface (Experimental Minimal)

Secret Underground Glowing Lake And With Giant Mushrooms (Electronica)

What would happen if we were to find an buried long-forgotten piece of technology - like a control board. Only one way to know what it does. This song is about that.
Because I say so.
Made in 2013 with Ableton Live.

What if it were a piece of electronics made by the Greeks? Romans? Mayans? Aztecs? Chinese? Egyptians?......

.....Neanderthals?? :)

Reminds me of when a Hammond Novachord- an early electronic organ that was, in fact, a true synthesizer, with all the controls and patches for true sound synthesis under the lid, built between 1938-1941- was being restored, and still needed new tubes, capacitors and other such parts, and the thing was first turned on? Something like this happened with Phil Cirocco's Novachord Restoration Project a few years ago, which resulted in a fantastic CD. :)

It's awesome to hear a story like that! I absolutely love the idea of restoring and using things from a bygone era :D I lack the patience to want to involve myself, but knowing others can so preservative of those things makes me smile! Frankly, the title played no part in the making of the piece (as with most of these titles I poop out at the last minute) I wish I had used an ancient instrument to make a song worthy of the title :P
