Part of Lem's ridiculously long background meme thingy is that his favorite drink is coffee. He likes it because he discovered that it gives him energy and lets him travel further in a day than he normally would. When strawberryneko posted this OC, I immediately saw him working in a coffee shop and thought he'd be the perfect person to introduce the drink to Lem.
