”In my defense, I never truly thought of reformation as blaspheme, but more of a polar, contradictory force to digestion’s deconstruction on an atomic level. I do actively try and stray from the inclusion of Taoism in my soliloquies as it’s kind of stereotypical for a monochromate like myself to harken back to the source of minimalism and truth, but reforming is truly an alimentary yin to hydrochloric acid’s yang. Unfortunately, Cuet here was a victim of my lack of due diligence and suffered a swathing in my own color palette rather than his original lacquer. To this day, I’m not sure how or why it wasn’t bothered by my lapse of fastidiousness – but you won’t see my vying for a reprimand, that’s for sure! If he likes it, he likes. I just hope that next time this happens, he’ll have some sort of say in the matter.”

Always one to embellish a relatively simple endeavor, Tahajin’s reformation just as multifarious as his abilities and repertoire. Occupants who willingly opt for a more traditional accommodation complete with the implied risk will take one of five routes when their corporeal forms are ultimately restored. These paths all coincide with the possat’s states of matter. Some could be revived in a blinding spectacle of lightning and fire while others could pool and shape from a mire of ejected, ebony primordial grog. Cuet – as depicted here – was willed back into existence by ways of a gaseous plume. The actually process, however, is far more involved that the chimera would let on. Sure, it looks like a simple matter of pharmacological and anatomic science executed by ways of a series of haptic holograms, but what you can’t observe is Tahajin having to project himself along the astral, ethereal plane and collect the former prey’s essence (or soul, if you’d prefer the more colloquial terminology) to place back inside of the reformed shell before it dissipates. Otherwise, it might as well be an anthropomorphic marionette, as any recollection of its life up to that point would be stricken from it. Of course, the more time that elapses postmortem, the harder this step is, making the chemical composition portion of the reformation remarkably secondary in comparison!

Needless to say, it’s the very reason the possat finds digestion both non-preferential and a guilty pleasure – especially when it’s adjacent to something far more harmonious: endosoma. On one hand, matter above the submicroscopic complexity of hydrogen and helium is the nucleic equivalent of fast food to a heliovore and tastes just as good. On the other, a wealth of responsibility and risk is bequeathed soon thereafter, meaning the afterglow is short-lived to the point of being nonexistent. Still, he will concede if an associate should happen by who wants to experience that ‘beyond the boundary’ sensation of being wholly subsumed and wrenched back from the brink (otherwise known as ‘spiritual bungee jumping’). He’ll just be rather emphatic when it comes to convincing said individual otherwise!
