I knew he'd probably catch something off someone eventually, but magically-induced STDs are a new one, lol

Oh damn. I have to admit that makes a scary amount of sense...

"Whoever fights with monsters should see to it that he does not become a monster in the process. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you."

It seems that a study of magic truly has an interesting effect on people in that world!

On that note, I always used to play Clerics / Healers when I played with my group of friends in a tabletop roleplay gathering. Wonder if in that world it would mean my character would have a better chance of aiding others he's often close to as well as himself? Hmm.. On that note, favored race used to be an elf.

Nonetheless, very cool concept and interesting tale to hear.

Thank you! I think mages have a potential to be way over-powered in the FTR world, so I had to have something to dial them back a bit. Every element has its drawbacks. This concept will be explored again in a future plot point. :>

"Itchy screwed the pooch"

Hey, now! He was very drunk at the time, and the dog was coming on to him.

Wait... you meant metaphorically. Nevermind.
