The short version is that it's a lot better now :3 The point was to get as close to the original as possible, so it was more like an exercise in mixing as well as a high-energy cover for my little show at RCFM in May.
I took one of my friend's advice and split the bass into two tracks and distorted the mess out of one of them :3
