After a long hiatus, here is a re-upload of my spindly Maxmillion droid. He's based on an actual figure I created a few years back, with the only difference between the Minifigure and the C.A.D. rendering being the detailing on its torso. I enjoyed him very much, but sold him on Bricklink as part of my attempt to clear out my old Lego collection. The MLCAD construction time was about 2 hours from what I remember, as Maxmillion was the first project I did with so many angled joints.
As a character, Maxmillion is a Droid, specifically an S4-series service droid designed to repair and maintain starships. With his numerous maneuvering thrusters and extendable limbs, he is perfectly suited to operate in a micro-gravity and zero-gravity environment. Befitting a droid owned by my main Star Wars fan character, the smuggler Selene, Maxmillion possesses a number of non-standard (and often times illegal) modifications.
