Vigilantism's history is nigh inundated with infamy and various inhumanities, yet it remains the Grandville province. For centuries, the linage has overstepped its jurisdiction and placated any official resistance through various underhanded means (including, but not limited to, blackmail and grand bribery); thereby gaining a large rapport that rung true in the vox populi as protectors of what was 'right', a notion so fluid that it changed with each passing decade. However, one cannot say that the Grandvilles are naught but a nuisance, as several despots and insidious aggregates fell to their hands.

While he might be an aberration in the eyes of his elders, the call of public round administration is genetic and forms the foundation of Tahajin's code of ethics and conduct. For this very reason, the possat renovated his loft's den to fold out into a VR haptic police band observatory capable of mapping and rating crimes as they occur (and, additionally, where his aid may or may not be necessary). Keeping with the family tradition, Tahajin has been known to reconnoiter corrupt habits of anyone in law enforcement and use that against them or placate superintendents and commissioners with lucrative friendships tied to underground organizations – and while he'll only use that when apprehended for interference, his home town of Xiphos permits his variety of reinforcement as the delinquents within the metropolis' limits tend to be of a supernatural nature or equipped with technology far beyond the gamut of a standard officer or beat cop. Still, he refuses the title of 'hero', especially 'superhero'. To him, its entirely uncalled for given his frequency (or lack thereof).

Another hereditary law that the mattershifter abides by is temperance in all things, including ability output. You will never see Tahajin utilizing his various polymorphism against someone who doesn't possess the equivalent (save infiltration assignments, but that's a whole other story). Versus petty offenders, he'll limit himself to a specialized brand of martial arts perfected and taught by his foster mother that attempts to find the median between powering striking, subversive grappling, non-lethal takedowns, and redirection. Should he be bested by opponent without special traits or augmenting accessories, Tahajin will admit defeat, apologize, and proceed to use one facet of his arsenal chosen at random. Of course, knocking the possat out for the proverbial count is a definite war of attrition for several reasons – but it can, and has, been done. In fact, it's the reason why he still trains daily to better himself for the next encounter.

Incidentally, Tahajin will do everything in his power to refrain from killing an aggressor regardless of felony...while he's calm, anyway.
