Character Description
"H-hi, there... My... my name's Cameron... but my boyfriend and close friends... just call me Cammie... I... I'm kinda shy... but... people say I'm really nice... Especially my boyfriend... He says... he says I'm adorable, too...

'Because you are!'

>///< Yeah, yeah... Anyway... he and I have been together... uh...

'Three years, honey!'

Y-yeah... th-three years... C-Connor, why do I have to do this?

'So people can get to know you better.'

A-all... all right... Well... I'm into stuff like gaming and anime... and I like to draw and write... and... uh... I... I don't know what else to say..."

So, Cameron is quite a bit shy. Shyer than I am, anyway, but he's a nice guy. He's in a very steady and long-running relationship with his boyfriend, Connor, and neither of them see their relationship ending at all.
Personality
Cameron is a very timid and shy young fox. He often keeps to himself, and as a result, he doesn't have very many friends. Nevertheless, he is a very honest and kind person once you get to know him, and he may, in fact, talk your ear off for a few hours once he knows you enough. He is also very opinionated, and if he is comfortable with a person, he will state his opinions regularly and be ready to reinforce them.

Background/History
Cameron grew up in a very conservative Catholic family, and up until he reached the age of eight years old, he grew up pretty normally. Although he was a little different because of his Asperger's syndrome and ADD, and while he was very shy and reserved, he still lived a decently normal life for a child his age. However, when he was eight, he realized that he had a crush on a boy in his class. When he brought it up with his parents, their response was, "You probably just think he'd make a good friend."

However, as time went on, he confirmed that his feelings for this boy were truly that of a crush, as he was physically attracted to the boy as well. Scared of what their reaction might be, but still curious about it, he once again asked his parents if he was "gay", as people would say. "You don't know that. You aren't old enough to know." And of course, he believed them and tried to suppress his feelings.

He couldn't suppress them, though. He couldn't deny what he was feeling for the boy, and eventually other boys. Still, he kept his mouth shut. Somehow he knew deep down that his parents would not be happy to find out their son was gay. Since he couldn't stop his feelings, he tried to look at girls the same way, but he couldn't do it. He couldn't see himself with a female.

Eventually, he met a young wolf named Connor, an openly-gay boy who was very quick to befriend the not-so-social Cameron. The fox cub admired the wolf cub when they first met. He wished he could be as open about his sexuality as his new friend was. However, that admiration soon turned into another crush, and again, he tried to brush it off and focus on the opposite sex rather than the same one, and because he couldn't act on it, he found himself slowly but surely developing depression.

But those feelings toward his wolf friend kept getting stronger. Eventually, he ended up once again discussing homosexuality with his parents, and while he was hoping for comfort, he instead got a lecture and told that he was to find women, not men, to date. While he had this conversation, however, Connor had overheard. Overjoyed, he brought the subject up with Cameron as soon as he was done, saying that he had his full support and how he loved the fact that he now had another gay friend.

Nevertheless, the fox was forced to "date" a few girls by his parents, although it didn't work out well in the end. He just didn't know how to date girls, but he didn't dare let his parents know about that. He merely told them that things just didn't work out. Eventually, he couldn't take that anymore and stopped trying by the time he turned fourteen, as he realized that he no longer had a mere crush on his friend. He was in love with the wolf.

So one day, when the two of them were alone, he confessed his feelings for Connor, and ever since that day, the two of them have been boyfriends. "A-actually... Connor's my... my fiancé, now... >///<"
