Truth be told, this was originally meant to dispel a rumor that had been going around. ‘Tahajin’s crystals are opaque.’ Yeah, that couldn’t be further from the truth. Sure, I can MAKE them that way with a bit of internal tweaking, but – in its unaltered state – they are very much diaphanous. ‘Course, I wasn’t satisfied with just proving that you could see through them… I wanted to prove that each facet had the same properties of a diamond’s, and could be altered on an atomic scale! Alright, I concede – this is one of my abilities that doesn’t have much in the way of practical usage outside of a natural science chapter on light or electromagnetic radiation, but you’ve gotta admit it’s fairly cool to look at!

Oh and no, there is no Pink Floyd reference. LGBTQs have already monopolized the rainbow…I will not have 70s rock band hogging prisms. Nothing against either - I'm just saiyan.
