“Could we break from the festivities for a little bit? I know we’re celebrating Hedoro’s recovery and all, but something just crossed my mind and I’d better act on it now before I forget. You remember that one movie we watched about…I’d say a month ago? Blue alien, little girl, tropical setting… I think it was a direct port from Earth… Anyway, I was considering, you know, transforming into one of those, oh shoot….what were the called. What where the called... I know the technical binom, but the common name escapes me… I think it was…frick, humans?

You know, might as well try out something different. What’s the harm? Well, there’s one major league problem. As you two know, I’m a tad chromatically challenged. Being devoid of colors is both a blessing and a curse. Now, I could go albino, but I’d be whiter than a sheet. Plus – I’m not going to lie – I’ve got a bit of a partiality towards the more tawny-skinned individuals prominent during that movie’s duration. Yeah, I can already see confusion permeating your faces, so I’ll make this quick: In order for me to obtain any color, I need to extract and duplicate it from organic beings, such as yourselves…and that’s basically why I need your assistance. Would you two be willing to help?”

No dubious agenda, no sinister ulteriors – just an innocent fascination with those smoothed-skinned caricatures (and a need to beta test something fleshly programmed). Couldn’t be simpler, but Salem’s already showing signs of skepticism. Trying to convince that little ferret though conventional edification is fairly idiotic – but, fortunately, I know of a far more effective method of persuasion. Who knows? Said METHOD might just be realized in the future. Keep your eyes peeled~.
