Character Sheet for Nick Davis
A young cheetah boy that found himself in the foster system at a young age, Nick endured systematic abuse before managing an escape. Unfortunately, after tasting freedom for only a short time, he was incarcerated in a youth "residential treatment center" - an environment that's disturbingly familiar to him in far too many ways.
Prickly, distrustful, unfriendly and generally offensive to most, Nick's actually a sensitive youngster with a traumatic past. Loyal to his friends and willfully defiant, he puts up a strong, aggressive front, but usually just wants to be left alone... or so he tells himself.
Those who know him better know that, while he's a deeply mistrustful and nervous kit due to his past, Nick is perfectly capable of feeling affection and friendship, and, deep down, desperately needs those things himself.
Extremely traumatized and wary due to past events, which is the cause of his standoffish behavior towards strangers - adults and authority figures especially. Is typically self-critical and negative. His only assistance with his issues is his assigned caseworker, who is also the only adult he's trusts even marginally.
The Shirtless Look(!).
Police and authority figures.
Unasked for favors.
Adults in general.
The use of "gay" as a pejorative.
Dr. Andrei Czejak: Case-worker.
Gary Robinson: temporary guardian.
Fur: tawny, white on extremities, belly and neck as per typical cheetah patterning.
Slender framed and small for his age, with long skinny limbs. His headfur, of a dark blonde, is usually kept short, but when it grows it becomes spiky and messy.
Nick generally wears whatever he is given or is available.
Due to his lifestyle, he has almost never had fitting, or even clean, clothes.
At the RTC, he wears the camp uniform specific to his "level" in the program: an orange t-shirt and black shorts/tracksuit pants.
Has a habit of destroying his clothing when nervous. E.G., picking at damaged shoes.
