This is the companion piece to the fox-in-my-room-pic. I actually do draw pretty much like this when I'm using the Tablet PC, and I've done it that way probably since I was 12 when all I had was pencil, paper and a clipboard, so it's kind of natural for me now. ^_^
And yes, I really do draw with the tablet sideways like that. I'll also roll on my back with the tablet gripped between my arm when I get tired of drawing sideways. X3
When I finished this pic, I was not happy about is the vinyl look of my character's fur. And 3 years later, I've come to really dislike the vinyl look of the character. X3 So I think my previous realistic version came out better. Also the lighting in him is a bit too spread out, it should probably have been more directional from the screen. I do like how I managed to match the grain in the photo onto the character, and so in the end I like it enough to still think it's worth uploading. =3
