Created this MLP (My Leprosy Pony) as a gift for a friend.

I took his Leprosy hell-hound fursona and turned it into a pony, complete with horns and scar tissue.

My second MLP sculpt (the first being my Rainbow Dash tester).

And yes, that is indeed the transgender symbol on her flank. ^.^

She's pretty cute. (Assuming I have the gender identity right there. If we're talking FTM, then, please replace all female pronouns with male ones.)

I do my best to remember, but since my friend has recently started the program, even she (MTF) gets the genders confused now and then...which is why I'm going to keep both gender statements as is, as they are not made out of ignorance on indifference, but out of personal intimacy (she thinks it cute when I stumble over the gender pronouns ^.^)  I often find myself unwittingly slipping between male and female several times in a conversation...due to the amount of time we've known each other, it's a natural occurrence, which will grow less and less as time goes by :)

I understand. My brother has a friend who is MTF and refers to her with the male pronouns. But my awareness gives me the feeling that male pronouns are disrespectful to her, so I prefer to use female. This causes some conflict between us. Maybe I'm too paranoid about Social Justice Warriors or something like that. :-p

But yes, I do try to respect one's transgender nature when I am aware of it. I don't ask right away when dealing with a stranger (who does? That's more like a really good way to make things MORE awkward), but if I am corrected on an assumption, I will try to respect it and correct my speech.

It really varies from person to person. My friend is fine with me referring to her as him or as her, as we're both still navigating this change in her life.  Were it in regards to someone I didn't know, then I'd use whichever pronoun they preferred.

I once read somewhere that "the gender most readily apparent" is the safest bet prior to correction.
