What dimension dose he exist in where they kick you OUT of the office for working too hard!! O.O!!

Our own dimension does that. The big bosses don't like losing money and paying workers costs them money. So they make rules that limit how much overtime workers can have.

Hell I've been threatened of my position because I wanted to come in ten minutes early just to get a few things set up and started the right way. Never underestimate how crazy work spaces can get.

It's why I'm planning on taking up Gunsmithing. That way I can make money on the side in gun repair and modding while not working in the office.

Then get shot in the face by raiders who don't realize I'm more useful alive than dead.

Yeah there is that..but if you have a stable place to practice your trade you should be ok.
It's those first few months that'll be tricky. :)

I'd rather be a survivor of a nuclear apocalypse than a zombie one. Knowing my luck, my ass would be eaten be zombies during the night.

You know, friend, you can put all of the pages of the story into one big pool so that people can navigate through them more easily. Have I suggested this already? I apologize if I have. Just came back to revisit the beginning, I'd forgotten how endearing Daniel was right from the start. n_n

Nothing to do this fine day.
Might as well walk across memories.
