This was for a drawing secret santa, where I had to draw Nexus [iconname]NexusMagician[/iconname] the cat. I really wanted to draw him as a cub, and of course his hat Tse, so I did it. In this scene maybe is just discovering his skills. I really loved painting this.

The hat quite reminds me of the Sorting Hat, a shabby but sentient hat in Hogwarts. It reads the mind of anybody who wears it and soon calls out the name of the House which the new student will dwell in. Griffendor, Ravenclaw,Hufflepuff and evil Slytherin. The second & third houses are hardly discussed in the novels.
Sometimes it decides immediately, and sometimes it takes a while. It found it could fit Harry Potter in ANY house, but he wanted to be in Griffendor, so the Hat took that into consideration.
