Hey look a fire chicken that's not blaziken xD. My girlfriend wanted me to draw a fire chicken to go with my fire cow Daisy sooo this little lady came up. I based her of a fluffy breed of chicken called Silkie.
Anyway Silky Flare are a fire attributed monster with the ability to burst in to flames when it or its young are threatened. The temperature of their body's can go as high as 1500-1800 degrees C. Though their default temperature is about 52 degrees C. They themselves are very docile and friendly monsters and would not be the first to attack. They are also very nurturing and have been know to take care of other creatures young. Also unlike some of the other none human-like avian monster classes the have functional mammary glands and can nurse young. Because of this they have been classified as a sub-harpy type monster. Much like chickens they tend to lay eggs very often but not as many. They only lay about 2-3 eggs every 5-6 days(normally no fertilized). The eggs come in a variety of color like yellow,orange, red, blue, or even green. Their feather and eye color depend on what egg they hatched from. They are also very intelligent and are capable of learning spoken languages and many other skills. Because of these traits they are good support type familiars for adventures.
This one is a very timid Silky Flare by the name of Pepper. She is a non-battle support type familiar as she hate to fight and supports her master with her cooking and herbalist skills as well as her organization skills. Though she does not like to fight if her master is in real danger she will fight to defend them. She is still very young and inexperienced and is still learning about the world out side the familiar training corps. ranch with her master.
