It was the grin that made this picture work for me. Previous iterations had Mima in the midst of battle, contorting her body as only a squirrel– er, Pachirisu can, but they came out looking horrible and unworthy of you or Mima. Once I changed tack and hit upon the grin, this picture just fell into place. On another note, I think this is the first Pokémon I've drawn since the early years of the franchise. On yet another note, Merry Christmas! :D
