In a lot of content (like I'm pretty sure D&D is one of the things that does this), "Prince" is a genderless title for demons. Probably because most demons don't have clear-cut binary genders and gendered titles would get awkward and arbitrary.

In a sense, you're absolutely right. In D&D, demons (and angels, and devils, and outsiders of any kind) are genderless. But there are some that appear male or female and are titled appropriately (duke/duchess, prince/princess, etc). They're mostly just called "archdemons"
