I saw that IKilledSociety was doing some Pokemon Speedpaint commissions, and had done Mewtwo using Psystrike for another FA user. Given the quality of that work and what I wanted to see in Aura Sphere, I figured this was a perfect opportunity to have Aura Sphere shown in its proper glory.
Aura Sphere solves so damn many of Mewtwo's problems. Dark-types? Not so scary anymore. Otherwise impenetrable walls like Tyranitar? Downed in one shot. His rival, Lucario? One-shot KO'ed with his own signature move.
Rhydon's special defense is usually so weak that a normal psychic might take him out. However, Aura Sphere, being doubly effective on him, finishes the job nicely.
This is one Rhydon that won't have a chance to Megahorn through Mewtwo.
