This was originally titled "I'm Sorry" on her page.

The backstory -- Dark used to be an evil Mewtwo. He's not now. While he was still in "batshit insane all humans must suffer" mode, he did some rather mean things to Lucas. Very, very evil things. For a good length of time. Mewtwo eventually found Dark and Lucas, and intervened...Dark is sad because he knows how much needless pain he caused, and wants to start things anew.

As for Lucas the Mewtwo, as is seen in my gallery, he has two separate backstories, for two separate storylines. The first storyline is where he's a character in

ladylightest's fanfiction, a human who joins a Mewtwo cult and is eventually turned into the Mewtwo you see there. The second storyline doesn't involve any of that, it has Dark encountering and capturing Lucas, a couple years pass, and then this picture happens.

This card was also done to fill in one of the gaps in the mini custom Yu-Gi-Oh card expansion I was doing, which is no longer needed.
