Krylon clear matte finish 7120 clear latex enamel. Its a spray thay puts a thin coat on the paper to keep the pencil from being smuged or fade. All my work that is mailed to those who commission work and want the final art is coated so the work gets to them in the same shape as it leaves me. :3

Oooh~ So that's why your works looksogray and matte.. Cool stuff! :3 May need to find that stuff as well, when i'll start to draw better.. My sketches now all in the original notebooks and with time got blured, splashing the pencil's lead all over the paper.. Thanks for a nice knowlege! :3

Well no the grey on this one came from a veeeerry fine rubbing with a soft cloth to give it a dull look, After wards I went through and redid all the detail lines to give it back the crisp sharp lines you see here then darkened to -7 brightness on scanner to bring out the grey haze a little more. A picture like this or any of my detailed pic will have some 10 to 20 steps to get to the final picture.
Yeah I put myself through hell at times for a pic at times lol BUT I love it

When you do art, you have to be sure it'll look like ART! ;3 I'm only on the start of learning how to make all the needed tricks to draw properly and your explanation just gets me excited! Your style and way of drawwing is the kind i'd like to get to, while progressing with my skills of using only pencil and erase. :3

90% of my work is only pencil and ease, I use mechanical pencils and I have them in different color ones so I know the hardness or softness of each, Everything from B , HB for darker lines H , 2H for medium work and 3H to 4H for my light shadows and beginning layouts.
I hope to see your work grow and bloom as time passé
And remember a clean finger tip works great for blend shading :3 Sometimes the old school ways work really well

Thank you for a kind wish and advice! :3 I've learned to blend shades like that when i was little and still doing so, ever thought my friends that passed throught the drawwing schools keep telling that i shouldn't do it that way at all. :p Also, some toilet paper may be good to use at it. Now i know on who to line up in making art among all those digital artists! :3 And one to bury in in questions! XD
