It was a bright and warm day when Zaliki, an orange haired human decided to go for a quick walk around the city. She wore on her a simple green shirt and a light blue pair of pants as she walked through the city.
The city was a bustling merchant city with a diverse population. A fairly large portion of the population was feline that had only the human and canine populations as close seconds, and the rest of the population was of reptilian species.
After a bit of walking Zaliki found her self at a forge owned by an old friend of hers. As she opened the door she was greeted by the gruff voice of an old canine.
"Hello Zaliki!" said the old canine he was a Siberian husky whose fur was mostly black, but started turning grey around his face showing he was a bit old. "How are you?" he asked with a warm smile.
"I've been ok." she said wiping a bit of sweat from her forehead. "It's warm today. Any way do you have that sword I ordered Sven?" she asked as she walked towards the canine
The old canine nodded. "Indeed I do. I just finished it today. I'll go get it." he said as she walked through a door that was behind the counter. After a few minutes he came back with a large piece of cloth that covered a sword. "Here it is." Sven said as he pulled the cloth off of the sword. The sword's sheath and hilt were a dark violet. The blade was well polished as it shined beautifully in the light.
A smile grew on Zaliki's face as she saw the blade. "It's beautiful like all of your works Sven." she said as she handed Sven a few pieces of silver "Have a good day Sven." she said as she walked out.
Once she was outside she tied the sword to the side of her pants and continued her walk. After a while she had to sit down on a bench for she was exhausted from the heat. She wiped a few beads of sweat off of her head after a few minutes, and got up and started to walk towards an old man who was sitting in front of some bottles.
As she approached the old man she noticed he was a feline a bobcat to be exact. His fur was quite grey almost looking silver in color. Zaliki knelt down to look at his face.
The old cat looked up at Zaliki. "Hello." he said in a weak voice. "May I interest you in something to drink?" he asked as he kept his gaze on the human female.
She nodded. "Yes you may." she said a little creeped out by the feline's gaze. She noticed that his right eye was cloudy from cataracts while another cataract started to from on his left. Zaliki looked down at the various bottles on the ground, and picked up a bottle that was full of a dark colored liquid. "What is this?" she asked looking at the bottle in the light of the sun.
The old feline looked at the bottle with his good eye and smiled. "Ah. That is a bottle of black berry flavored water. It's quite popular seeing as that is the last bottle, and you may have it for free." he said barely moving his mouth.
"Thank you?" she said as she quickly opened the bottle and drank it. Once she finished the drink she put her hand in her pants pocket and pulled out a few pieces of silver. "That was good, and I thought you should be paid" she said as she looked at where the feline was, and was surprised by the fact he was gone. She looked around for him, but only heard a faint sound in the wind that sounded like 'you're welcome.'
After the moment of confusion. Zaliki looked up and saw the sun was starting to set. She then decided to head home after a few minutes she made it back home. "I'm home." she said as she closed the door to her house.
Upon the completion of that sentence a tall male golden furred Serval ran at her and hugged her. "Hi Zaliki. Dinner will be ready in a bit." he said with a soft smile.
Zaliki nodded in response to her housemate. "Alright Caelin." she said as she hugged him. "So what are you cooking?"
"Oh just some shrimp with a garlic dipping sauce." he said as he stopped the hug and went back to the kitchen. "You want anything to drink?"
"I'd like some wine." she said as she went to the living room. As Zaliki walked towards a couch in the living room she took off her shirt revealing a black bra that covered her decently sized breasts. Once she was lying down on the couch she grabbed a book on poisonous plants, and started reading it.
After a while Zaliki put down her book, and got off the couch to go into the dinning room. She sat down at the small table, and smiled as Caelin placed the plate of shrimp and dish of garlic sauce on the table.
"How's dinner?" Caelin asked as he poured himself and Zaliki a glass of red wine. Once her finished pouring he took a sip of his glass.
Zaliki smiled. "It's good like everything you cook." she said as she dipped a large prawn into the sauce and ate it. After a few minutes she got out of her seat, and yawned. "I'm going to bed." she said as she walked in the direction of her room. As she walked past Caelin she tripped over one of her feet, and fell landing on her face.
Caelin quickly got out of his seat, and went to help Zaliki. "You alright?" he asked as he helped her up to her feet.
She shook her head to regain focus as Caelin helped her. "Yes I'm fine." she said blushing slightly from the embarrassment of her fall. "Thanks." she said as she gave Caelin a hug before she continued walking towards her room. As she entered her room she felt the cool feeling of moss against her feet. Zaliki smiled softly as she looked around her room and saw the numerous plants in her room. Once at her bed she took off her pants, and climbed into bed. She closed her eyes and slept once she was in bed.
Zaliki dreamed she was walking around in the middle of a jungle. She looked around at the interesting fauna of the jungle not aware she was being watched.
A pair of golden eyes peered out from a bush as the leopard watched the human curiously. The leopard slowly crept out from the bush; its beautiful brown fur was covered in black cloudlike markings indicating it as a clouded leopard.
She heard some leaves rustle, and then started to run. After a little bit Zaliki tripped on an exposed root of a tree causing her to fall flat on her face.
The leopard ran after the human female. Once it saw her fall it pounced on the human.
Zaliki woke up with a gasp of relief. She looked around a little and realized she was on the moss covered floor of her room.
After a few moments she tried getting up, but couldn't keep balance on her feet so she settled on waiting for her legs to fully awaken she sat down and felt something brush against her bum. She looked behind her, and screamed fore she noticed she now had a tail that was covered in black fur that had brown cloudlike markings.
A loud thud could be heard followed by the sound of feet running a cross the floor. "Are you - what the?" Caelin asked as he opened the door and saw Zaliki. "You have a tail?"
She nodded. "Yes I do. I don't know how I got it." she said before she screamed in pain and covered her face with her hands. "It hurts!" she said as she felt the bones in her face shift to a more feline appearance.
Caelin was in awe as he watched Zaliki's transformation. "I think you're turning in to one of my species." he said still amazed by what he saw.
Zaliki moved her hands away from her face, and looked at Caelin with tears forming on her eyes; which had turned a golden color. She tried to crawl towards Caelin.
"Stop. I'll come to you." he said as he walked towards Zaliki. Caelin then sat down, and hugged her. As he put his arms around Zaliki he felt soft fur quickly grow on her. He formed a smiled and started to pet Zaliki.
Zaliki purred as Caelin hugged and petted her. Her fur was black and had the same markings as her tail. She looked up at Caelin. "Um how are we going to explain this?" she asked looking her self over.
Caelin shrugged. "We will think of something." he then got up and helped Zaliki up. "but first we have to get you able to walk." he said with a smile.
