This is still one of my favorite car related pictures I have gotten so far. Zach Braun, who I wish had a site somewhere, did this for me as a birthday present years ago. Amazing guy.

It's of Kendall, leaning against one of my dream cars to have before I die. A 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. 427 cubic V8, 435HP, side off-road exhausts.. My dad used to own one back when it was new, but they go for hundreds of thousands of US $ now.

This is a fantastic picture, I just love the way it was executed. The positions of everything, and the point of view is perfect with the downward wide angle. I love the "rough" look of this with the way the artist did the shading, highlights, and lighting. The parking lot is so seldom seen, it's a great background. I love your story. Your dad is a lucky man to of bought such an amazing car new. Does your dad regret selling it? or did he have to? I hope you can still spend time together. Zach Braun did do an amazing job. does he have an account here or a portfolio somewhere? You have amazing tastes, I've always been partial to the '65 with the side pipes, 396, and disc brakes debuting that year. Thank you for sharing your story. Hearing it reminded me of a story my dad told me. He bought a 86' Trans Am new and was offered a '78 silver anniversary Vette but he had to keep his Trans Am for 6 months according to GM rules of the day, from what I remember him telling me.

Unforts I got no idea where Zach is these years or what sites or addresses he has anymore. Dad had a 65 66 and 67 vette the year they came out. totaled the 65, overheated/blew up the 66 engine, had to sell the 67 to afford going to college.  These days dad misses the 67 but he has a few Viper's that he loves more (2008, 1994 RT/10 and now a 2017 ACR with extreme package).

That's Ok, thanks for your honesty. Thanks for sharing this. Your dad is a very lucky man with awesome tastes to have been able to afford all the cars he has/had. Yeah, those first gen Sting Rays are worth and go for a fortune! Never give up hope, maybe one day he'll get a 67 vette back and have fun and make new memories with it. You never know, he might rediscover HIS vette:) I am happy for him that he loves his Vipers more and gets to play and enjoy them. Wich one out of the three is his favourite? When I first read your reply, I started to cry because I was thinking about my dad. I'm happy for you that you still get to spend time with your dad. Spend as much as you can and learn as much as you can from him. Cherish the time you have together-I'm starting to tear up again.
