Had.

Broke it few months after this photo, cause i gained a lot of weight and the suit maker made no slack in the outfit for if i gained weight. face and body part would have to be remade from scratch so I said fuck it and gave the parts to 2chaotic earlier this year. Doubt will get another suit made. Wasnt a good first experience. plus very expensive. Have more enjoyment out of art over fursuiting.

Well, being inside the furry fandom is not only about wearing fursuit, like others might think, it's also a misconception of ppl outside the fandom that has the impression furries are ppl that dressed in animal costumes, some of them even thinking it is a sexual fetish... come on!!

It IS a popular part of the fandom, but not a requirement to understand it.  I love the work put into making one and creativity and inspiration people get. But *I* don't get much enjoyment out of wearing them, and don't see them in a sexual light.  That part isn't as big as the media likes to make people think it is.

Also the average fursuit costs 1500-3000$ US to get made, and after a few years the suit tends to need major repair or be retired.  I rather use that $ on other things I like, art commissions for example.

Sadly that's what you can see in Seth McFarlane's American Dad, in a couple of episodes they show  the "furries" like a ppl that likes to dress animal costumes as part of a sexual fetish..... what a big misunderstanding of the furry fandom/subculture.  I also heard about an old CSI episode that talks in a very negative way about fursuiters :-( :-(
There must be a way to show what the furry is and destroy all thosefalse myths
