LuridSilence's flat color commission of a sort of inside joke that's become a meme in our little group.

Once when my grandparents took the three of us to a seafood restaurant, Lurid and Darky both got fried chicken. Lurid tried to take a bite of his and nearly burned his tongue because it was really hot. Darky must not have been thinking and/or listening at the moment, because she then tried to take a bite of hers and nearly burned her tongue.

Now every time one of us tries to eat food that's too hot to eat, this is what we think of.
