Got around to trying drawing again and tried a few tricks here or there in gimp using a paint brush this time. The oc featured in this attempt is Dusky, belonging to one of my friends.

Although the mane didn't really turn out or went as I hoped at the time, it did grant experience working with manes more while a few idea of how to go about in the future. The question is how to iron out and refine the flaws in the future so that the picture comes out better in the end.
