Humanity tends to settle near sources of food. Nature often thinks alike.

Why can't we get along?

Chimera in a tight situation.

Still inexperienced in surviving of the land, he didn't scout his surroundings properly.
That good fishing spot was close to some homes.
One perk is that his hearing is now a lot better, warning him of unwanted visit, giving him just enough time to duck away in the reeds, avoiding detection.

Chimera, cursed into a monster, needs to learn to live of the land, away from civilization, that now fears him and hunts him like a common monster.
