So after weeks of HammyToy trying to teach me how to flash animate, and things just not sticking in my brain, I decided to try an alternative. However he did get some basic animation concepts into my brain, even if the information on how to use Flash kept falling out.. and rolling away under the table.. and eventually stepped on...by me.
When I got his old Tablet-Laptop, it came with Photoshop 10 (aka CS3). I mention this because the girlfriend was making a tailwag icon the other night, and using PhotoShop Elements. So after watching a HOW TO on making animated GIFs in PhotoShop, I had her help me out.
This is the end result. I took this image which I had drawn up on the same tablet-laptop back in June, and using layers like where were cells. I think I will toy around with this a few more times, learn more of this and maybe start doing up icons for others. I want to add more animation for this too, like maybe twitching ears and moving the mouth.
