This is Midneighter, an artificially enhanced stallion.
Princess Americia has decided that she would much rather not have a higher authority giving her a slap on the pastern everytime she indulges into unspeakably evil schemes.
So she has incapacitated and tortured all of his team, including the stallion he loves. Boy, is she going to regret that her minions could not kill him.
