Very friendly and cuddly, a little clingy and obsessed with physical contact Duke is extremely social but a little bit shy at times. He loves hanging out with friends, but finds it a little difficult to make them at times.

A little thick-skinned, Duke refutes affection and tries to keep it very chummy even with those he's close to. Generally quiet and reserved, he enjoys spending time on his own but still relies on his close friends for pick-me-ups.

Nero
Likes high-protein foods, video games and swimming. He absolutely adores getting his back scratched. His favourite video games are Real-Time Strategy.
Duke
Similar to Nero, he loves video games and fatty foods. Preferring console fighting or racing games, he's a little more sedentary.
Background/History
Nero
Nero was a student until recently, but is currently unemployed. He met Duke at 22, and has been living with him for over a year.
Duke
Duke moved in with Nero to attend the same university, but is currently working full-time at McDonalds. He hopes to go to University.

Nero's divorced parents are both doctors. He has two brothers and a sister, but doesn't spend much time in his hometown.
Duke
Duke has one brother and estranged parents. He was disowned when he came out to his father.
World/Setting
Both characters live in the cold, coastal setting of an English-speaking country.

Very broad, thick build. Strong, some muscle. Mane blends into hair, which is thick and shaggy. Dark grey back and sides. Light grey highlights. Sclera are not visible. Fur is very thick and long, usually unkempt.

Short and a little doughy with a bit of a gut. Slit pupils, usually dilated. Wears his hair in a ponytail with bangs hanging down.

Clothing
Nero
Prefers to wear as few clothes as socially acceptable. Usually just wears rough trousers with muted colours and a belt to hold them up. If in private, will happily go nude. Happy to wear clothes if asked / deemed appropriate, usually baggy t-shirts. Will never wear shoes or underwear if helped.
Duke
Usually wears dark long-sleeved shirt or t-shirts with jeans. Tends to wear a black or brown hair-tie and black boots.
