Jail time wouldn't help that much, but I'm not sure what would, honestly. It's not anger, it's hate. And when you can hate people that much, even when you know nothing about them, it's obviously very intense.. I would consider that the true symptom of a victim.
You see, there wasn't really much of a story; it didn't take much to set him off. But, anyway, I was treated to a right hook on the side of the head. Then I fetched security and things happened from there. Since I caused some delay in the train traffic I thought it extra important to actually press charges.. so I had to compose something of a statement, get interviewed.. pictures, etcetera. Now there might be follow-ups depending on how they, and the other guy of course, proceed.
Jail time wouldn't help that much, but I'm not sure what would, honestly. It's not anger, it's hate.
That's not really what I'm concerned about. I'm not a big fan of being on stand by for police hearings and so forth. If it becomes a court case of somesuch it'll be all the more fuss. Not that I'd object or anything, I'm simply not looking forward to it.

honestly it wont but some accountability needs to be accessed. I'd love it if they could find the root of his anger and have him counciled to fix this but there are times that wont happen and they need to pay for there crimes. you should not have been assaulted there is no excuse for it man from the sounds of it he has anger problems and needs help and it be nice if he got it but if nothing else i hope he pays for his crimes.
and sorry if i am out of line I dealt with bullies growing up so hearing stuff like this really pisses me off.

I wouldn't classify him as a bully. More a hateful nobody. But as it seems it won't have much impact. I wonder if people can really learn from punishments, heavy or mild. Perhaps it could demotivate them from releasing their hate.. but I'd hope that more could be accomplished.

when it comes to just blind hate (hate with no reason behind it) it could be just ignorance in which case education would be better then punishment. but as for learning from punishment it depends how many times he's been in trouble with the law. if he's been in and out of the system then it will do nothing.

Check the other comment for a story.. unfortunately one of my problems is that I deliberately keep things vague so people won't make too big a deal out of it and worry needlessly, but that only really invites people to worry and wonder what's going on. Oh well! Anyway, I'll be okay!
