The big monster thing that seem to be interested in Sonic's chilli dog is called a Havockin. It's not really known where these creatures came from. But, like their name sake, they are known for causing tons of mischief and destruction.

This one, however, just seems like it wants to play. We'll call this one, Gruesome! Well, that's what Sonic calls him anyway. He's a standard Havockin. They're more akin to large, trouble making dogs than destructive beasts like the others. There are much larger and meaner ones, and they won't want to play with Sonic like Gruesome does.
