So yeah, lately I’ve been rather frustrated with how little my style seems to have progressed. People often still comment how similar it looks to Atryls style so I finally sat down and worked to fix that dramatically. I’m giving them each a more defined head shapes and eye shape as well as playing with line weight and color shapes. It’s not quite there yet, but this definitely feels like something I want to work more towards.
As a long time watcher, and rare commentator, I wish to inform you, that your art style to me, never once really resembled Artyl's. I can see the major differences in the styles, and have noticed small similarities, mostly the only large similarity is that you both try to draw Lauren Faust's ponies with your own anthropomorphic style. There is not much that is absolute the same. But then again this is just my personal opinion.

Honestly Siden, even when you were starting out and intentionally mimicking atryl's style i could tell the difference (not a quality thing mind you, i just could recognize the subtle differences in style). But whatever you choose, i look forward to it.This style looks pretty good, can't wait to see where you take it.

If you want to keep working at it go ahead, but I think you have something very solid to start with. You've captured their essence rather well. I like A.J.'s squarish jaw. And just looking at Rainbow I think of spunkiness and sass. Oh, and that Rarity is just lovely. *chortles* Dat Pinkie! XD And your rendition of Twi here seems very sincere.
