Because, Vera isn't into fox tofu, she basically only eats spiced meat and the occasional Poptart
And I don't know much about Alolan Vulpix but I think she's a berries and ice cream girl.

doesn't have to be the vulpix you made :O

Also, the link you have says this:

Yeah, and so are eevee. But you know me by now, all my characters play against the norm.

This one like the hell out of meat and works against most veggies.

As for the Pokemon, these are almost entirely based on my own Pokemon before my dog are the player
