Leonidae likes Constance. Constance likes Leonidae, she just has that very....rough way of showing it that some folks do ...like using him as a springboard to jump into the pond while he's washing up. Silly kitty, you can't get clean just dabbing at the water like that!
Of course she may or may not be aware of the fact that even antho-felines don't necessarily care for water.
