I've been thinking about this little gem for ages. I'm sure it's probably been done before, and with much better finesse, but I thought I would contribute my own scribble of it.

I'm quite aware of the plight of battery farmed animals and it is horrifying, but I've been meaning to draw this for years.

I've never heard of the term "battery farmed animals" before I saw this. After looking it up, I didn't see what the big deal was. I thought it was them getting systematically electrified to death or used as a power source like in the Matrix.

XD No, it's animals being crowded in together to the point that they cannot actually move and then force-fed until they're fat and the weight has broken their legs, then it's off to get chopped up for dinner.

Everyone loves tortured meat obviously.

Oh. I honestly didn't care. Speaking as a bio major, that sounds pretty tame compared to most of the stuff mother nature does.

Nature is brutal and unforgiving in some circumstances, I know. It's just sad that as the most intelligent creatures (although that is debatable) on this planet, we should strive to be a less torturous and to reduce suffering. Some people prefer non-tortured meat, as craaaazy as that might sound.
