Well Voxal's manipulators are done

The arms were made from the legs of a cheap bug transformer knock offs I bought 5 years ago. (I bought 3 of them really cheap just to use in some project like this)
the pincer claws are the feet from said toy with long claws bolted to the toes so they can open and close. I added a micro chainsword ( butter knife and cloroplast) as well as light plasma disruptor (cloroplast, plumbing fixture, green led and part of a pen)

I think Voxal is almost finished don't you

Fantastic. Voxal's a handy guy to have around alright. I like the mini chainsaw. A real one would be in my tool kit to handle rusty latches.

LOL thanks,
I know its just a butter knife but I think it looks cool.  and if you had a mini chainsaw you'd be remiss not to use it at every ioertunity,  I might use it to cut pancakes

once he's finished I'm going to see if I can find a way to green screen him.  I'll have to stop motion animate him but If I create a library of stock footage I might be able to bring Voxal to life

An animated Voxal could be fun. I'd hesitate to cut pancakes with a chain knife. Sawing through the china could get expensive.
