Had some down time in the cleanroom last night and sketched a bit with a ballpoint pen. Figured I'd share this so people will know what I mean when I say stuff like a quick study on (X). I took just a little over five minutes to churn this out. Drew up the rough shape and then started filling in to make the muscles fit the shape I drew. The torso was the objective. The task wasn't to make it accurate to real human anatomy, but to make it accurate in a way that both would work and look decent.
Been trying to explain quick studies for a bit to some folks and wish I still had my old Ipod with all the data on it because it had so many examples of stuff like this with notes for people to see it's ridiculous.
Again, the objective of this doodle was the torso, didn't care about the rest or how it worked, but I do like how the head and thigh turned out too. lol
