You do.. you have a very good sense for the shading and colors in general, your work is always beautiful. You are very cute with your modesty, but you gotta admit that you are doing great.. more than great, this is gorgeus.. i mostly like the way you make the hair for some reason, it looks so natural all the time and the light ends of the silhouette makes the fur look amazing as well.

Ok, i'll admit i'm better than some people ^w^;
But then that makes me sound arrogant. So i'll say i'm still not more than half way to where I would like to be, mostly because
every time I improve, I realize I have even more to learn. I suppose this is the struggle of the creative as i'm sure you find yourself facing the same uphill climb. I find your art very full of life and presence, its dynamic. Something I wish I could do better in mine.
also, I learned the hair thing through a vid I watched of someone painting, actually I learned tons from it, as well as watching streams a lot. Many streamers are really nice and will answer tech or stylistic questions if you simply ask.

You are too nice to be arrogant -w- and i am familiar with that feeling.. the more i improve the more i feel like there is not less but more to learn every time..
i don't watch anything, sometimes look at pics with the "eye of an artist" sorta thing and my works come out according to my mood. if it's good, the art is good, but i rarely have such a great inspirational feeling to create something big and awesome.. like you haha. I gotta learn a lot.. but for now i must focus on school, it is my goal to take a step to a higher level of art, but it should not be disadvantage of my educations..

oCo thats how I am too! Sometimes I just can't draw anything if i'm depressed, which is most of the time, but then its like a spark and everything looks great. Till I post it and nitpick.
Also, education helps, but its not really needed. I never went to any art school or anything.

That's the problem of every "heartist" I believe :/ i often get upset too and can't really draw with that special feeling.. either way linearts often just find themselves in trash haha, i destroy everything i make usually or i ruin them when trying to ink with no mood for the stuff .3.
Education is needed for everything else, not art, i only meant my damn high school i should finish. it is art related in a way but basically they don't teach you anything, it's only that they "force you" to create and try out stuff when it comes to projects, like a makette or concepts so you gotta improve yourself to be able to make some decent ones of these and you must try out new techniques. i started to like painting thanks to this school (which is one of those good things i try to think when talking about it, otherwise i hate school to the guts lol) n on the other hand, other kids who have the money always went to actually educate themselves to art, but not me, i am some stubborn and i want to learn things by myself, be my own teacher

Yea, though when I can't be in the mood for art I force myself to do it anyway. Even if it ends up bad It keeps me from not doing anything for months. Thats the really bad mood.

I do the same a lot, I have to keep up with commissions and when i got time it doesn't really mean i have a feel for making art, though most times, i find the joy and pleasure part in it and then i am happy to draw and color the pictures. I'll try to stay up tonight as well, though i got a smooth coloured pic ahead and i am unsure if i'll want to make it now -w-' that needs one specific mood for sure.. these kind of pics take me around 3 hours to make so.. i might as well just install my stupid old game my weak pc can handle and kill some pixely people in one of the worst video games ever released lol.. or i can download condemned maybe.. i think this oldie could run that..
what games do you prefer, dear? :) what do you do in your free time?
