And of course using only regional trains - no EC/IC/ICE - you HAVE to use the counter - can't get that connection using a DB ticket machine, it keeps spewing out "no connection could be found" when you try to make the journey too long and complicated.

And have you ever tried to use those touch screens with a beak or a hoof? Definitely not fur friendly these things!

I know that it is possible to get those Tickets on the Machine. There is an extra folder to click on to join the Modus " Regional Transport Associations"

But back to the Artwork itself:

Many wishes and problems of costumers are very crazy. So thats what this Artwork shows up in a ironical way. But of course, thats a point; If you have only a beak or a hoof.. There must be changed something very fast! But if the DB have to build up for any animal species a terminal, they need an extra building for all those machines! :)

I could only ever get the machine to give me tickets for the regional transport association in the area the machine is standing. its a big problem if you plan a voyage across the borders of two transport associations, as you can only buy a ticket to the border of the next, then leave the train, buy a ticket, wait two hours for the next train and board the next train. Its easier for a bird fur to just fly on your own wings, but then how do you take your luggage? It's a problem :)

I have to say I missed the side-swat on costumers. Its only natural for a cat to demand cat litter on the train isn't it? I mean they can hardly expect you to rip open the seat upholstery to find diggable material ;) Now as of the journey plan, thats simply a matter of funds. Of course the train through Königsberg would be a tiny bit more expensive than a direct connection, but I'm sure the self conscious costume customer would have full appreciation for the costume artists requirements to get that little extra - or wouldn't they? >;)

On the other side.. If you pay 2 regional Tickets you have the situation that you get a Low-Price IC Ticket. As more Borders you plan to buy Tickets as more a ICE Train be comming possible. Thats where i think this is a Chaos-Situation which people create by their own.. Like a self-made Problem. Please do not understand it wrong but if Birds have to fly, then they choose the sportive way of travel. :)

that may be so, -- but at least birds that fly on their own usually aren't late (and don't have to book their travel in advance to get a low price ticket either) -- thus the term "free as a bird" :-)
