For my best friend, Luna. Her ferret, Daemon, passed away. May his soul go to Summerland, or if he has a calling somewhere else, will he always know that her love will be with him for all eternity.

He watches over you,
He sees your tears.
In vain, he tries to dry them with a black paw.

His voice comes in a whisper,
"Mommy, don't worry...I'll be careful. I'll always look both ways before crossing the street. I'll only eat the good Kibble. I'll take a bath and wash behind my ears...because you showed me how. Mommy, don't cry...I'll always be with you and love you. Forever."
