Concept sketches. Bo Yote and his little brother Yotie. Bo is 17 and autistic. Easily coaxed into doing almost anything except blatantly hurt someone. But if you teach him how to play Blackjack, he'll right away know better than to risk gambling over a game. He'll also know how many raindrops it'll take to fill a jar, and by that, how long it'll take to fill it with rain water. Sadly this gift isn't very useful in a farm setting, which is where they live.
Yotie is Bo's young brother. He's smart as a whip and loves to do anything that will get him and Bo away from their boring farm life for any amount of time. He loves his brother a lot, but occasionally takes advantage of his simple wit to better achieve his goals. Their dad always has boring chores for them to do, though. Not sure on Yotie's exact age yet. I'll get back to you on that.
