This was the last of the three pics that were created by fardru and then got a splash of color from me. These three pics were for characters of a DnD game that he recently joined, and all three of them brought something different to the table.
Well, this is definitely not the best of the three. The other two I had ample time and energy for, but I was short on time and feeling a bit meh when I did this one. However, each one was intended to bring something new into my spectrum of artistic abilities, and even this one taught me somethings about art.
First off, this isn't on par with the others in quality, but if you compare the time line, this pic definitely was a workout for speed. Aditionally, I actually used a picture background without making it look like ass. I know that it is a cheesy concept and all, but I thought it was really effective, especially with my shiny in prompt tu text.
In addition to time and backgrounds, this piece gave me a chance to show off how good I am getting at selecting color palettes that work together fluently. Looking at a lot of my other pictures, I see colors that are good individually, but really need some adjustment so that they better flow or contrast the colors around them. This is especially hard to do with skin tones, and I think I pulled it off nicely with this piece.
Somebody in a multi-part story set in Bartelby's hell, defined a shaman as a high-order autistic. The story is weird and not canon. It is hard to find now, as the links to it have been excised (link library of Hell stories deleted). I'm trying to establish my own library,and to alert the identifiable authors about the loss of this link library, but most of the stories are not canon.
