Wow... my third commission price sheet in this less-than-a-year since I started doing them. Sorry about changing things around so much, but I think I'm getting a better handle on what I'm capable of and how to make that available to everyone.
This time, I've changed up how the process works. It's still pretty simple but I added in a new thing - detail level. You can choose to bump up to High Detail for any available style or finish level, and I'll make a larger image (up to about a maximum of 4k resolution) and spend more time on nicer shading and fur details. I'll provide some more examples below but hopefully the difference is clear enough.
Background types now come in three flavors: Quickie - Simple color or really quick mood lighting. At most, a quickie BG gives a general sense of place. Simple - Usually a speedpaint or low detail illustration, meant to give an environment and context to the characters. Illustration - A much more detailed environment , more immersive with a lot more details to look at.
I removed comics from the list, not because I'm not offering them but because they're not very popular. If you want a comic, a decent estimate would be to add about half the cost for each panel.
Q - How does this whole thing work? A - Send me a note, Skype, etc about what you'd like to get. We can discuss ideas/detail/finish or you can just tell me what you'd like, send refs and wait. I need your email so I can send an invoice for payment (you can pay with Paypal or credit cards) and I'll usually send for payment either after you have approved the sketch or after it's done.
Q - What can I do if I don't feel like I got what I paid for? A - If you aren't happy with the results, don't stay quiet about it! Contact me and we can work something out. I won't charge you full price for substandard work.
Q - What's the usual turnaround time on commissions? A - The truth is, the time I take to finish a picture (or especially a larger project like a 3D model) can vary wildly because of seemingly random elements. It's never been worse than 3 months, and I intend to never take that long again. If you have a deadline or want your work sooner, just let me know and I can usually get it done within a week. Or a day. Or a few hours, maybe.
Q - Can you stream for me? A - I can do public or private art streams just for you! You set the rules and tell me what to draw. I won't do nudity/fetishes in public streams, though. Generally my going rate for streams is $15 per hour.
Q - Custom SL avatars? But you've never done that before! A - It's true, I haven't already put an avatar into SL. I haven't learned the process yet but I know where to go to get that information and I have people who can help me figure it out. If you decide to get a model for the purpose of sticking it in SL and I fail to get that to happen, I won't charge you for it.
Q - I WANT PAWS ALL OVER MY CHARACTER'S FACE MURRRR~ A - UM OKAY I GUESS but I still charge $10 extra for fetishy stuff
